In Ash we have been exploring maps, how we can use them and looking at different types of maps of our school and local area. During our lessons we have discussed why maps are important and useful to us in our daily lives. We then practised using an aerial map to help us find our way around our playground to key features. Following this, we were inspired to design our own maps of the playground on squared paper, adding a Key for important features and details.
